Noir Bakery began as a simple idea: that Great Neck deserved a bakery that took the craft seriously. Not a chain, not a franchise — a real bakery, with real bakers, making real food from scratch every single day.
We drew inspiration from the great patisseries of Paris and Vienna — places where the baker arrives before sunrise, where the croissant dough is laminated by hand, and where the day's work is measured not in units sold but in the quiet satisfaction of a customer's first bite.
We chose Great Neck because this community deserves that kind of care. We've watched families grow up coming through our door, celebrated weddings and birthdays and quiet Tuesday mornings with equal attention. That's what a neighborhood bakery is for.
